Major Accounts Manager (Netherlands)

Conteg is currently seeking a Major Accounts Manager to work out of the regional offices in the Netherlands

Conteg is a leading European manufacturer of Data &Telecommunication Solutions: racks, cooling, cable management, intelligent power distribution, and system monitoring for the enterprise ITS industry, Datacom equipment rooms, server rooms and datacenters.

As a Major Account Manager you will be responsible for developing long term business relationships with leading companies, by assisting them with how best to apply Conteg products and solutions.

The right candidate will be energetic, dynamic and have the entrepreneurial sales skills to help grow Conteg business interests in the Netherlands region.  

Candidate needs understanding of the physical infrastructure used to support ITS (or ICT), for example, structured cabling system, cabinets/racks,  cabinet level power distribution, knowledge of the datacenter market, along with previous successful experience of selling to customers in the Datacom  industry.  Certification or specialized experience in the Datacenter industry is a strong plus.

The job involves growing the business with the Conteg existing customer relationships along with developing new business; so a successful applicant must have strong ICT industry contacts and have demonstrated success in personally closing projects.

The successful candidate will have had experience closing on projects that have a long complicated sales cycle, as well as conducting typical day-to-day racks/cabinets and accessories sales. All completed Conteg transactions go through channel partners and system integrators; so strong contacts with related channels are required.

The position requires periodically conducting presentations about the Conteg product line and solutions to customers and Conteg business partners. These presentations are done both at the customers or business partners offices or in the Conteg Netherlands Breda demonstration and product show room.

All Conteg Major Accounts Managers are required to post regular reports using an enterpise wide CRM.
